A Schengen visa is a type of visa that allows travelers to visit multiple countries within the Schengen Area, which is a group of European countries that have abolished passport control at their mutual borders. The form is available in different languages; however, the consulate will inform you which language you can use to fill out the application form. If the visa applicant is a minor (younger than 18), the application form must be signed by the parents or legal guardian of the child.
